
Since joining GCJPR in 2006, Matthew Dutile has been active in producing strategic and creative media coverage as a part of GCJPR’s media relations team. He has been responsible for aggressively researching, generating and pitching media opportunities for clients including; Childhelp, Sharon and Michael Lechter, Respect/Respeto and American Solutions.
In 2008, Matthew served as the public relations coordinator for the Arizona Crystal Darkness campaign. The awareness and prevention campaign, centered on a 30-minute documentary, was designed to educate Arizonans on the dangers of Crystal Meth. The documentary aired on every major television station and a majority of the radio stations across the state. It was the third most-watched program in Arizona in 2008, just behind the Super Bowl and NFC Championship.
As part of the media team at GCJPR, Matthew is responsible for helping each client tell their story where it needs to be heard. In addition, he helps manage media for crisis clients, assists in event management and writes for GCJPR’s blog.
Originally from southern New Hampshire, Matthew was lured to Arizona by warm weather and a scholarship from Ariz. State. He currently resides in Phoenix. Matthew graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and special concentration in Public Relations and Strategic Media.
