GCJPR Adds Three Clients

PHOENIX, AZ (August 15, 2006) – Gordon C. James Public Relations is pleased to announce the addition of three new clients in 2006. These clients include the FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA), the Board of Visitors, and the Kyl for Senate campaign.

GCJPR has been hired to attract event sponsors and assist with securing speakers for the 2007 FBINAA national conference, which will be held in Phoenix. This event will bring together more than 1,200 executive-level federal, state and local law enforcement officials from around the world to discuss issues ranging from identity theft to immigration concerns. Conference keynote speakers will include Frank Abignale (subject of the 2002 Dreamworks’ film Catch Me If You Can), among other high-ranking law enforcement and government leaders.

FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. is a non-profit international organization of senior law enforcement professionals dedicated to providing our communities and profession with the highest degree of law enforcement expertise, training, education and information. GCJPR has also been selected to handle public relations activities for the Board of Visitors, a leading Phoenix non-profit organization. The focus of our efforts will be on the upcoming celebration of the organization’s 100 year anniversary. The work was awarded to GCJPR following a competitive selection process.

The Board of Visitors, a non-profit fundraising organization focusing on health-related needs of women, children & the elderly, is the latest charitable organization added to GCJPR’s current roster of non-profit clients which includes: Crossroads, Food for the Hungry, the Pat Tillman Foundation and the Veterans Medical Leadership Council (VMLC).

“We have great admiration for the Board of Visitors.” said Gordon James, “We’re looking forward to implementing a multi-faceted communications plan that will celebrate the positive impact this group has had on the less fortunate in our community for the past century.”

GCJPR has been working closely with the Jon Kyl for Senate campaign since the start of the year. A team of GCJPR staff members have spent the past several months assisting the campaign with statewide event management and media relations efforts. In addition, Christine Walton has taken time off from GCJPR to work for the Kyl campaign as Finance Director.
