September 29th, 2008 posted by Matthew Dutile

Each year the Phoenix Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) chooses recipients for its prestigious Copper Anvil award in numerous for and not-for-profit categories. GCJPR was selected as the recipient of the award recognizing excellence in editorials/op-eds. The winning op-ed was chosen for its ability to clarify a complex issue on immigration policy and published in the Arizona Republic last year.

The PRSA Copper Anvil Awards recognize complete public relations programs that incorporate sound research, planning, execution and evaluation and reflect the highest standards of performance in public relations. It is considered a significant award amongst public relations professionals and often a career milestone for many individuals. Trisha Anthony was on hand to receive the award on behalf of GCJPR in the awards ceremony on Thursday, September 18 at Tempe Mission Palms.
