Jessica Parsons has a varied background in local media, publishing and sales. She spent nearly 20 years, in KTVK-3TV’s newsroom; behind-the-scenes as a 2020 Emmy-award winning producer and in the field as a general assignment reporter.
It all started in the early 90s while a journalism student at ASU and an intern at 3TV’s Arizona Family. She was asked to join the launch of a local news broadcast called, “Good Morning Arizona,” which set the course for her future success.
Ultimately, she became a morning news producer and helped lead writers through high-profile stories including the Oklahoma City bombing, the O.J. Simpson trial and the JonBenet Ramsey case. She was working inside the newsroom during 9/11 and the COVID-19 pandemic, which she says changed her DNA.
Between 2008 through 2014, Jessica was the Editor-in-Chief of Phoenix Woman magazine, 202 Magazine and North Scottsdale Lifestyles magazine, while also producing travel shows for Arizona Highways Television. The woman likes to write.
She also enjoys real estate and earned her license in 2002, joining the DMB Realty team to sell luxury properties in DC Ranch and Silverleaf. She says this position taught her much about the housing market, the art of lifestyle sales and serving clients.
Combining her passions and background in television news, print and working with people, Jessica saw public relations as her next natural fit. She’s excited about the prospect of expanding her network and helping clients grow their brands through the power of earned media and other approaches.
