Garrett Otto

Public Relations Associate

Garrett Otto possesses a passion for communication and a talent for storytelling that brings his clients’ messages to life. His strong interpersonal skills and understanding of the media landscape allow him to build relationships quickly and secure meaningful coverage that drives awareness and engagement. 

  

A graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication at Arizona State University, Garrett began his career in broadcast news, producing at WGN-TV in Chicago before transitioning to media relations with Visit Phoenix. This experience on both sides of the media gives him a valuable perspective on what makes a story newsworthy and how to effectively position it for success. 

  

At GCJPR, Garrett provides public relations support for clients including Shea Homes Arizona, St. Vincent de Paul, Be Kind People Project, Hearts for Dementia, and Crossroads Inc. His work includes pitching, media training, and strategic communication planning. Garrett also contributes to creative production efforts, writing scripts for Shea Homes video content and overseeing video editing and digital asset development for Crossroads Inc.

Garrett is an avid sports fan, and you can always catch him watching his beloved Seattle Seahawks on NFL Sundays.  He also enjoys exploring the outdoors and finding the next mountain to climb.
