Kim Owens
Senior Public Relations Director
Arizona native Kim Owens began her professional journey in healthcare, working as a registered nurse in a busy emergency room before transitioning into school nursing. Her commitment to service quickly extended from caring for individuals to advocating for her community.
Kim was elected to five terms on the Tolleson Union High School District Governing Board, where she worked to strengthen educational opportunities for local students. Her leadership and experience also led her to serve on the Maricopa County Industrial Development Authority and the Salt River Project Council.
Throughout her career, Kim has been actively engaged in the political process. She has served on numerous campaigns at every level from President and Governor to Attorney General, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, and the Arizona State Legislature. Her consulting work with grassroots groups across Arizona has shaped key ballot initiatives, including the successful Just Vote No on Prop 205 campaign, and she played a central role in developing legislation to end adult abuses in probate court.

In 2012, Kim became executive director of the Dodie Londen Excellence in Public Service Series, an acclaimed leadership program dedicated to training Republican women for public service roles. Under her leadership, the organization has helped graduates win elections as state legislators, county officials, city council members, and school board members, as well as appointments to numerous boards and commissions.
Drawing on her expertise in public awareness and strategic communications, Kim has partnered with clients ranging from national financial services providers and international pharmaceutical companies, to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona, and the Arizona Free the Grapes campaign, which helped secure direct-to-consumer wine shipping rights in the state. She has also supported Shea Homes of Arizona and was a key member of the GCJPR team that produced “Meeting Week” for the Committee on Arrangements during the 2016 Republican National Convention.
Kim is trained in the Interest-Based Approach to decision-making, a method that emphasizes collaboration and effective communication.
